HISTORY
Allen L. Geiser & Son, Inc. was founded in 1979. At this time, the library binding of medical journals, periodicals, thesis, law journals, and library books was the nucleus of the business. During the 1980s, when the government cut research spending, the library binding budgets of many libraries were also reduced. Geiser and Son approached this hurdle as an opportunity to expand into different areas of the graphic arts industry. We focused on the private sector in the form of book restoration. We became custom manufacturers serving the corporate industry in the form of turned-edge binders, slipcases, laboratory notebooks, legal bibles, menu covers, presentation folders, annual reports, etc.
